Job summary

Loyola University Medical Center, part of Trinity Health, is seeking an experienced RN for outpatient peritoneal dialysis care on a PRN basis. The role focuses on managing home dialysis processes and ESRD patient support, with a 10-hour shift weekly in a clinic-based setting.

The ideal candidate holds an IL RN license, BLS, and 2+ years in nephrology nursing, ready to train patients and caregivers and ensure safety and compliance across the program.

Qualifications

• Requires Nursing Diploma (BSN or ADN).
• BLS certification required prior to hire.
• Current IL RN license.
• Minimum 2 years nephrology nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages all aspects of home dialysis patient care from admission through discharge.
• Provides guidance to staff to ensure safe and effective home therapy delivery for ESRD patients.
• Oversees patient and caregiver readiness for home dialysis and trains on equipment use.
• Manages patient experience and participates in patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, QA, and proper data entry into systems.
