• Work with Home Dialysis Registered Nurses to assist PD patients at home.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients and home dialysis nurses.
• Meticulous documentation of patient and treatment information.
• Determine priorities and organize workload efficiently.
• Communicate dialysis terminology clearly.
• Deliver prescribed dialysis treatment per physician orders.
• Identify and report problems during setup and takedown.
• Calculate weight loss needed for dry weight.
• Relay equipment issues to the home dialysis nurse.
• Apply PD knowledge to patient care processes.
