Job summary

Continental Home Center is seeking a Delivery Technician to join our team serving customers across the local community. The role combines delivery, inventory, product service, and hands-on customer support with comprehensive training and opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, delivering and setting up furniture/appliances, inspecting and prepping merchandise, explaining basic product operation, and assisting customers both in-store and at their homes.

Qualifications

• Be dependable, professional, and customer-focused.
• Comfortable working inside customer homes.
• Able to lift/move up to 75 pounds.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn product setup, service, and basic repair procedures.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and meet driving requirements.
• Available to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and receive inventory.
• Inspect, organize, and prep merchandise.
• Deliver and set up furniture, appliances, electronics at customers' homes.
• Safely load, transport, and secure items.
• Explain basic product operation and care.
• Service and repair products when needed.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Assist store employees and customers as needed.
