Scheels in Wauwatosa is hiring a full-time delivery and assembly associate for start in November/December 2026, with the new store opening April 3, 2027. You will load, transport, assemble and deliver merchandise to customers’ homes, including exercise machines, trampolines, grills, furniture and bikes.

Applicants must have a clean, valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 months of related experience or training.

Qualifications

• Clean, valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred with 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operation manuals, and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Maintain safety and accuracy during loading and transport of merchandise.
• Assemble, service, and deliver merchandise including exercise machines, trampolines, grills, furniture, bikes, etc.
• Troubleshoot and respond to delivery and equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate records for store, customer equipment, and delivery trucks.
• Ensure clean and professional appearance of trucks and delivery area.
• Be respectful of the customer’s home and property during delivery.
• All other duties as assigned.

This full-time position will start in November/December of 2026. We will start hiring part-time positions in November of 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain safety and accuracy during the loading and transport of merchandise to prevent damage to the products and customers' homes
• Efficiently assemble, service, and deliver customer and store merchandise. This may include, but is not limited to, exercise machines, trampolines, basketball hoops, grills, furniture, game tables, bicycles, and other Scheels merchandise
• Troubleshoot and respond to customer delivery and equipment issues
• Maintain accurate and detailed records for the store, customer equipment, and delivery trucks
• Ensure a clean and professional appearance of the Scheels delivery trucks and the delivery area in your store
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly and delivery issues
• Be respectful of the customer’s home and property throughout the delivery process
• All other duties as assigned

Compensation:

Starting $22/Hour

Schedule Requirements:

This position is typically Monday through Friday, but could include occasional nights, weekends and holidays if needed.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate must possess a clean, valid driver’s license. High School Diploma, or General Education Degree(GED), one to three months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
