Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician I for the Home Delivery Pharmacy in Concord, NC. The role focuses on accurate processing, preparation, and distribution of specialty medications with attention to patient safety and service excellence.

Responsibilities include non-sterile compounding, packaging, shipping coordination, and maintaining accurate records in the Epic/Patient Management system. Travel between facilities may be required, and staff training is part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• One year of relevant pharmacy experience preferred.
• Current state Board registry and PTCB/NHA certification within 60 days or enrollment in pharmacy program.
• Active enrollment in FPGEE/FPGEC acceptable per policy.

Responsibilities

• Process, prepare, and fill specialty prescriptions for home delivery.
• Perform non-sterile compounding and repackaging as needed.
• Answer and screen phone calls, referring to a pharmacist when appropriate.
• Use EPIC/Patient Management system to review and process prescriptions.
• Document patient encounters in the system to meet accreditation standards.
• Assist with training of new employees and support inventory management.
