The Home Delivery Coordinator/Logistics at Eloise’s Cooking Pot Food Bank leads the delivery program, coordinating routes, managing the mobile food bank, and organizing donor pickups to serve more families.

You will train volunteers, set up new clients in our system, maintain relationships with offsite food banks and schools, oversee grocery rescue initiatives, and ensure timely, accurate delivery of meal boxes.

The Home Delivery Coordinator/Logistics plays a vital role in supporting the Eloise’s Cooking Pot Food Bank. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating delivery services for the Home Delivery Program, ensuring efficient operations, enhancing community awareness, and increasing the service capacity to assist more families in need.

In this role, you will orchestrate delivery routes, oversee the mobile food bank and grocery rescue initiatives, prepare meal boxes, set up new clients in our system, and train volunteers to facilitate the delivery of food and meal boxes. You will also be responsible for managing logistics for offsite food banks and donation pickups.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with logistics software

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and optimize delivery routes using organizational delivery system technologies

Volunteer Management:

• Recruit, train, and mobilize volunteer drivers
• Provide timely responses to volunteer inquiries

• Schedule volunteers and manage vehicle logistics
• Oversee the maintenance of delivery vehicles

Delivery Oversight:

• Supervise and organize deliveries and pickups at the food bank
• Manage delivery drives, route coordination systems, and grocery rescue volunteers
