New York Food Truck Association seeks an Operations Coordinator to ensure meal deliveries run smoothly and on time. You will own intake from referrals to active delivery, log details, and coordinate orders with caterers to keep routes aligned with client needs.
You will act as the liaison between drivers and home care agencies, reconciling counts and records while maintaining a single source of truth for rosters and routes. Strong Spanish, organizational, and communication skills are required.
The New York Food Truck Association's meal delivery arm brings hot, nutritious food to elderly Manhattanites who can't easily get to a grocery store or cook for themselves — often because of frailty, illness, or other age-related challenges. For a lot of the people we serve, this delivery is what keeps them eating well, staying healthy, and living safely in their own home instead of somewhere else.
Programs like this exist across the city, but we're building ours to run leaner and smoother than the rest by putting real technology behind it — modern tools instead of paper logs and guesswork, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Our Coordinators make sure meals get delivered without a hitch. You'll be the connective tissue between our home care agency partners and our delivery drivers, making sure no schedule change, special instruction, or last-minute swap ever slips through the cracks. You'll run the Excel-based systems that keep every route organized and every delivery on time. Think of your role as the glue of the entire operation — the person who notices the detail everyone else missed, who's already three steps ahead, and who's excited to problem solve when challenges arise.
