Job summary

ION Solar, LLC is seeking a Home Damage Technician for our Chesapeake, VA facility. This role will manage inspections after solar installations, coordinate with jurisdictions, and deliver project documents.

You will perform drywall patching, maintain safety, and communicate professionally with customers. Requires high school diploma, 1+ year construction experience (electrical/roofing/framing), and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• More than 1 year of construction experience in electrical, roofing, or framing is required.
• Solar experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up inspections with the proper jurisdictions.
• Deliver documents at the premises of projects.
• Share information with the corporate office about important items with each project.
• Complete projects within policies, time frames, and budgets.
• Maintain QA/QC with emphasis on crew safety.
• Communicate with customers professionally and respond to questions/concerns.
• Perform approximately 90% of repairs involving drywall patchwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
