Job summary

Dohrn Transfer is seeking a Full Time Non CDL Driver at our Centerville Terminal. Pay is $26.37/Hour to start and $29.08/Hour after the first year. Hours Monday-Friday, Dayshift.

Drive a Non CDL vehicle between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight at dock-height; load/unload; perform lifting; ensure freight is secured and comply with DOT rules. Benefits include Health/Vision/Dental, 401k matching, life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• Valid driver's license and 3 years driving experience.
• Class C Endorsement (IL) or #2 Endorsement (IN) may be required.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and background checks.
• Must read/write English and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Non CDL vehicle safely between customer locations.
• Load and unload freight independently or with dockworkers.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling and carrying of freight.
• Secure freight with strapping or other methods as needed.
• Inspect the vehicle for defects and comply with laws and company policy.
• Follow company policies and DOT regulations for safe operation.
• Perform other duties as needed.
