Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a driver to deliver materials to customers on a Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm) with potential overtime. You will handle loading/unloading, load tickets, and returns while adhering to safety policies and DOT regulations.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, with opportunities to work in warehouse tasks and grow within the company. Valid CDL and DOT medical card are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a Valid Driver's license.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, including loading/unloading and delivering tickets.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product for credits.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; report issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with pulling/preparing orders for shipment; receiving, verifying, stocking material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including PPE usage; wear a safety harness up to 400 lbs.
