Herman N Logistics is seeking a Local CDL-A Grocery Delivery Driver based in Westfield, MA. You’ll clear six figures with a local grocery route, stay close to home, and earn a $5,000 sign-on bonus plus additional stop and layover pay.

The role includes daily home time, shifts aligned to daytime or overnight windows, and frequent stops across NY Boroughs, Long Island, NJ, and Boston. Requires a Class A CDL and 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.

Local CDL-A Grocery Delivery Driver – Westfield, MA

Pay & Earnings

• Average Annual Pay: Clear right around $100,000 a year.
• Activity & Stop Pay:
• Daily rate: Extra $50 every day you work your full schedule.
• Non-liftgate stop pay: $19.00 to $20.50 per stop.
• NYC boroughs & Boston stop pay: $30.00 to $31.50 per stop (compensating for the heavy city traffic).
• Non-NYC stop pay: $23.00 to $24.50 per stop.
• Extras: $100 per layover occurrence, $15/hr detention pay after the first hour, $200 a day during new hire training, and $160 per holiday occurrence.
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 bonus waiting for you for a limited time.

Schedule & Routes

• Shift Options: Pick the rhythm that fits you best—Shift 1 (Tue–Sat, 00:01–03:00 start), Shift 2 (Mon–Fri and every other Sat, 00:01–03:00 start), or Shift 3 (Tue–Sat, 00:01–03:00 start).
• Work Hours: Long, steady 12 to 14-hour shifts.
• Home Time: Home daily (slip-seated daycabs; trucks stay at the yard, so you'll need your own ride to and from work).
• Operating Area & Freight: Hauling fresh and frozen grocery reefer loads (53', 51', 48', or 46' trailers) to supermarkets and distribution centers across the NY Boroughs, Long Island, NJ, and Boston (averaging about 31 stops a week).

Equipment

• Automatic and manual day cabs pulling reefer trailers in a slip-seated operation shared with opposite-shift drivers.

Job Requirements & Special Rules

• Valid Class A CDL and at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Experience driving and delivering in all NYC boroughs is strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset for store deliveries.
• Physical work: Handling 1 to 3 pallets of frozen product per stop using a manual pallet jack and liftgate (driver offload, with piece-by-piece hand offload if needed; curbside in NYC, docks in NJ, flexible in Long Island).
• Occasional layovers might happen, but hotels are fully provided.
