Job summary

Northwest Respiratory Services seeks a Medical Equipment Delivery Driver in Danville, IL. As the face of the company, you will educate patients on equipment use, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe operation during home deliveries.

The role involves transporting DME to homes and facilities, providing friendly service, following safety procedures, and managing routes. Training may occur at Milwaukee, WI or Eagan, MN locations, with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have current state driver's license.
• CDL Class C with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred; endorsements help in role.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport, deliver, and set up DME equipment to patients' homes and facilities.
• Provide courteous, high-quality customer service to patients and partner facilities.
• Adhere to safety procedures for transporting oxygen and medical equipment.
• Manage delivery routes to meet service goals and ensure timely delivery of equipment.
• Assist with equipment problems and patient questions promptly and professionally.
• Explain proper use and care of equipment to patients and caregivers.
