Job summary

Ferguson seeks a delivery driver in Madison, WI to deliver materials to customers, assist with loading, and verify returns. You’ll perform pre-/post-trip inspections, follow safety procedures, and work with warehouse staff to prepare orders.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (6:00am–4:00pm, or until route completion), a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days, and a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid state issued license is required
• 0-3 years of delivery driving experience preferred
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 90 lbs occasionally
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology including iPads

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading/unloading and ensure delivery ticket is provided
• Pick up customer returns and validate product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fuel the truck as needed
• Follow and implement all safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders, receiving, verifying, staging and stocking material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Adhere to safety regulations, including PPE usage such as safety harness when required
