Steel Technologies is seeking an Experienced Class A CDL Driver for a home daily role. You will operate a heavy-capacity tractor-trailer, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries between Steel Technologies locations and customers.

Requirements include a Class A CDL, two years of driving experience (steel hauling preferred), DOT/FMCSR knowledge, and the ability to handle loading/unloading duties. On-site, full-time with benefits and a driver-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL license.
• Two years of driving experience preferred, steel hauling a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSR requirements and state laws.
• Ability to operate a tractor-trailer for long shifts and handle loading/unloading tasks.

Responsabilités

• Operate a tractor-trailer to transport steel products between locations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain required documentation.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Maneuver into loading/unloading positions and ensure proper positioning.
• Secure cargo using ropes, chains, binders, or covers.
• Follow a predetermined schedule for pickups and deliveries.
