Job summary

Dohrn Transfer Company in Grand Island, NE is hiring a Full Time Class B Driver to operate a straight truck between customer locations for delivery and pickup. Hours are Monday–Friday, dayshift, with starting pay at $26.32/hour and $29.84/hour after the first year.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year verifiable Class B driving experience.
• Pass road test administered by Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer.
• Must pass DOT physical examination and functional screen.
• Must consent to pre-employment drug screen and have negative result.

Responsibilities

• Drive a straight truck between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight.
• Load and unload truck with or without dockworker assistance.
• Secure freight using straps or other methods as required.
• Maintain documents and records per state and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicle safely and comply with all regulations for hazardous materials.
