Job summary

Spenard Builders Supply, owned by Builders FirstSource, is hiring a Class B CDL Delivery Driver for the Palmer, AK yard. You will transport and deliver building materials, load and unload safely, verify orders, and maintain records while delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes safety, independence, and teamwork within an operations-focused environment. Candidates should have at least 1 year of delivery experience and a valid CDL.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 1 year delivery driving experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card within 5 days of request.
• Ability to meet MVR standards (fewer than 5 violations in 5 years).
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles to transport and deliver products to customer locations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials per policy and DOT regulations.
• Verify delivery orders, inspect products for accuracy, obtain signatures or proof of delivery.
• Maintain delivery records, mileage logs, and required documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
