PITT OHIO is hiring a Class A Linehaul Driver for the Parma, OH location, HOME DAILY. You will operate in overnight road assignments, delivering or picking up freight with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years of verifiable interstate driving experience (approx. 200,000 miles) or one year with a diploma from an approved driving school.
• Must pass a PITT OHIO driving test administered by an approved trainer.
• Hazardous materials and tank endorsements or obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Must hold only one valid driver’s license and keep DMV address updated.
• No 36-month period with license suspensions or major violations.
• Consent to pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• No FMCSA Clearinghouse disqualifications; full background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial vehicle safely primarily in road operations overnight, terminal to terminal or relay point.
• Work Monday–Friday nights with occasional weekends; be home daily when possible.
• May perform customer deliveries or pickups as needed.
• Assist with unloading/loading freight at terminals using pallet jacks or forklifts (where qualified).
• Secure freight by strapping or other securement methods as required.
• Inspect vehicle for defects and ensure safe operating conditions.
• Comply with hazmat regulations and drive within hours-of-service rules.
• Maintain required logs and records and follow company policies and regulations.
