Job summary

Dohrn Transfer is seeking a Full Time Class A Driver at our Iron Mountain, MI Terminal. Driving a tractor-trailer between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight.

Hours Monday - Friday, Dayshift. Benefits include Health / Vision / Dental insurance, 401k matching, life insurance, short/long term disability and more. Starting from USD $31.15/Hr. after first year increases to $32.73/Hr.

Qualifications

• A minimum age of 23.
• Must have 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must pass a road test by a Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer.
• Must possess or obtain Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements.
• Must have CDL license from resident state and provide license history.
• No DUI/OWI or reckless driving in 5 years; clean MVR.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• No positive controlled substances or alcohol results in past 3 years; consent to 10-year work history check.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight.
• Load and unload freight and secure it for transport.
• Inspect vehicle and comply with Federal and company safety rules.
• Maintain logs and records per DOT/state requirements.
• Operate within hours-of-service regulations and communicate with customers as needed.
