Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to locations across North Carolina and nearby states. This full-time role offers salary-based pay with bonuses and a friendly, customer-service focus.

You will secure loads, occasionally tarping, and load/unload with a forklift; no touch freight. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record, flatbed experience, familiarity with DOT regulations, and the ability to read and apply

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations across North Carolina and surrounding states.
• Safe and timely delivery with no-touch freight.
• Secure loads and occasionally tarp; load/unload with forklift.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at loading/delivery sites.
