Universal Logistics is seeking HOME DAILY reliable and safety-focused CDL A Shuttle Drivers out of the Northwood, OH area for a full-time, long-term career opportunity with a growing company. Lanes run from Northwood, OH to New Boston, MI, Toledo, OH and back.

2nd shift is 4pm-2am at $26.00/hour with time and a half after 40 hours; five-day schedule with potential for Saturday. Benefits after 90 days include Blue Cross Blue Shield medical/dental/vision, paid holidays, vacation, personal time and

Qualifications

• Strong time management & communication skills.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean driving record with safe-driving history.
• Ability to pass physical/drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks safely and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Load and unload cargo and ensure proper securing of loads.
• Transport goods to destinations within scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain logs of working hours, driving hours, and rest periods (DOT).
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, incidents, or route changes.
• Complete delivery documentation (bills of lading, receipts, etc.).
• Follow planned routes while adjusting for traffic or weather conditions.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites.
• Keep equipment clean and report necessary repairs.
