Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking a Home Daily CDL-A Driver based at our Newark, NJ terminal. You will handle port-to-port drayage with a Monday–Friday schedule, starting early each day, and be paid per move with a step-based pay system.

This role offers a guaranteed minimum pay for the first two weeks, full benefits, and real opportunities for growth within a nationwide logistics provider.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in last year.
• Port experience preferred but not required.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Home daily port work with light-touch freight.
• Monday–Friday schedule (Saturday optional).
• Day shift (5–7 AM start, 10–12 hour days).
• Voluntary layovers available.
• Consistent year-round freight.
