Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. You’ll be a company ambassador and will have opportunities to advance your career, while being home every night.

What you’ll do includes dropping off and picking up equipment, operating trucks and trailers, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT‑regulated commercial driving experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs regularly.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers, in CDL-A compliance.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
