Job description

This is an independent contract, on-site Cleaner role based in the Twin Cities, MN. The Cleaner will perform residential cleaning services, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, and general tidying according to a detailed checklist. Responsibilities include using company-provided equipment and cleaning products safely, organizing supplies, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. The Cleaner will work as part of a two-person team, arrive on time to scheduled appointments, follow customer instructions, and complete quality checks before leaving each home. The role may also involve communicating basic service updates to customers and reporting any issues or special requests to the owners.

Contract and Pay

This is per-job contract work, and you choose which jobs you accept. Each job is confirmed by text before it is scheduled. Pay is a flat fee per job, per cleaner, paid within 7 days:

• Standard clean: about $50-$60
• Deep clean: about $60-$105
• Move-in/move-out clean: about $65-$115

The fee depends on the size of the home. All cleaning products and equipment are provided. Contractors sign a short independent contractor agreement and submit a W-9 before their first job.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform detailed residential cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in following room-by-room checklists and quality control procedures.
• Reliable time management skills, with the ability to arrive punctually and complete work within scheduled timeframes.
• Comfort working on your feet, lifting moderate weights, and handling cleaning equipment and products safely.
• Good communication skills for interacting respectfully with customers and collaborating with a team member.
• Demonstrated dependability, integrity, and respect for customers' homes and property.
• First-time cleaners welcome. Previous professional cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from jobs in the Twin Cities.
• Availability for jobs on weekdays, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
