Your role

Reporting to the Home Team Manager, the Home Claims Consultant role is to manage all home claims enquiries, providing excellence in customer service via empathic support and accurate guidance to customers. This is to be done whilst ensuring cost control strategies are adhered to. The Home Claims Consultant’s main responsibility is to provide certainty and excellence in customer service outcomes at all times.

Key Responsibilities will include (however, not limited to the below):

Day to day management of customer enquiries and validating reported insurance claims.

Providing our customers with empathy, certainty, guidance, support and final resolution of claim situations and enquiries whilst at all times doing so with excellent customer service.

Process Home claims and provide ongoing home claims acceptance decisions and advice on product coverage as per policies and procedures.

Resolve complaints from clients, suppliers or services providers and from within The Hollard Group within agreed service levels.

Identify potential fraudulent claims and follow agreed policies and procedures.

About You

Strong knowledge of Claims discipline, practices and products

Strong technical insurance and policy interpretation skills

Ability to interpret company policies, guidelines and procedures

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

Relevant industry experience required
