Job summary

BJC Home Care is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support the Metro St. Louis Intermittent Home Care Department.

This full-time role (40 hours/week) runs 8 am to 4:30 pm with weekends & holidays rotations, and focuses on creating and maintaining schedules for a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to ensure exceptional patient care. • High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in scheduling or home care operations.
• Ability to learn a complex scheduling software program.
• Must be able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Makes independent decisions regarding daily staffing of clients with clinical support from the patient care coordinator, supervisor or director.
• Ability to grasp home health regulations pertaining to timely initiation of care and schedule in accordance with those regulations.
• Must have the ability to learn a complex scheduling software program and its associated processes
• Monitors schedules and proactively communicates with clinicians and charge nurse.
