We are currently seeking an experienced:

HOME CARE SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP)
Per Diem, PRN

Job Description:

1. Provide patient care services, including direct treatment and follow-up.
2. Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallow, or cognitive disorders based on physician’s orders, developing appropriate care plans.
3. Accurately document patient data, reflecting progress or decline in condition.
4. Communicate effectively with internal contacts and maintain open communication among staff.
5. Attend care conferences, meetings, and in-services; provide weekly statistical reports.
6. Offer in-service education, professional training, and public education; supervise peers and support personnel and students as needed.
7. Conduct research and assist with new employee orientation.

Job Requirements:

1. Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, and current state licensure.
2. Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology theory and practice, with ability to evaluate and treat patients with physician’s orders.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and CPR certification.
4. Minimum of twelve hours of continuing education annually.
5. Willingness to travel and work under assigned conditions.
6. At least 1 year of therapy experience in any setting.
