Job summary

BrightStar Care of Acton, Andover and Lowell is seeking a Home Care Scheduler to support our growing home care operations. This role is ideal for someone with caregiving or home care experience who enjoys coordinating care, supporting caregivers, and being a reliable point of contact for clients and families.

You will manage schedules, handle call-outs, assist with client intake, and help with in-person orientations, ensuring seamless delivery of compassionate home care services.

Qualifications

• Experience with home care scheduling or healthcare coordination preferred.
• HHA or hands-on caregiving experience preferred to cover call outs on need basis.
• Driver's License, CPR certificate and TB test results are needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments with urgent staffing needs.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
• Basic computer skills; scheduling software experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve independently.

Responsibilities

• Caregiver Scheduling & Coverage: Schedule caregivers to meet client care needs efficiently.
• Client Intake & Communication: Answer calls, assist with intake, coordinate start of care.
• Operations & Orientation Support: Assist with caregiver orientations and onboarding.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with Nursing Director to support care plans and transitions.
