Job summary

HomeCare Advocacy Network in Omaha, NE is seeking an organized Scheduler to manage the Client/Caregiver schedule and coordinate in-home nonmedical care for seniors.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm, with on-call duties; benefits include PTO. Experience with scheduling and in-office work, plus a positive attitude and reliable work ethic, are valued.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or the equivalent.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining an extensive and ever-changing Client/Caregiver schedule.
• Providing one on one care to clients when needed.
• Performing Client Consults for potential new clients as needed.
• Working as a team on multiple projects and Client/Caregiver issues.
• Building relationships with Caregivers and Clients.
• Demonstrating open and effective communication with the office team, Caregivers, clients and clients' family members.
• Conducting after hours on-call duties (taking the phones and filling shifts as needed).
• Assisting the Care Coordinator and team with various tasks.

Home Care Scheduler

Pay: $18-$21/hr

We love seniors, and it's our passion to match them with amazing caregivers. We provide one on one, nonmedical services for Omaha seniors. Helping seniors age in place in the comfort of their own homes is our passion. We truly value relationships over tasks. Caregivers provide companion care, personal care, and Dementia care. We offer clients help with meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, toileting, showering, ambulation, and many other things they can't do on their own.

Wage and Hours

Full time position M-F 8 am to 4 pm. $18-$21 an hour.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience with scheduling and WellSky preferred
• Experience with assistive devices preferred
• CNA or Caregiving/Personal Care experience preferred
• Experience working in a professional office setting
• Must have moderate technical skills
• Skilled in executing several different daily tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
• Must have the ability to work independently and multitask
• Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and sound judgment
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the senior care industry, or be willing to learn
• Experience in home care preferred

Schedule

• 8 AM - 4PM Monday thru Friday
• On call after hours on a regular rotation
