Job summary

AmeriStaff Nursing in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home health team. Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems (EMR).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SOC assessments and admissions.
• Complete supervisory visits to ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop, review, and coordinate patient care plans.
• Perform skilled nursing visits as needed.
• Provide wound care and wound vac management.
• Provide tracheostomy (trach) care and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families regarding disease management, medications, and care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and nursing standards.
