Job summary

Arizona Valley Home Care at Home is seeking professional caregivers to provide in-home support in a client-centered environment. The role involves helping with ADLs, mobility, medications, and overall daily living activities for clients served across the community.

Applicants should have current TB test, Arizona caregiver certification, and prior home health or senior care experience. The position offers a flexible schedule and in-person work.

Qualifications

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide personal care including mobility assistance using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor and document vital signs and health status changes.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide personal care including assistance with mobility and transferring using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and tidying of the home.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well‑being.
• Support clients with memory care, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia, through patient observation and tailored activities.

Qualifications

• Current TB Test
• Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification
• Previous experience in home health, senior care, assisted living, or long‑term care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA regulations, and patient monitoring techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with caregiving tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, and cleaning duties.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and assist clients in physical mobility tasks.
• A compassionate nature combined with patience and understanding towards clients’ needs is crucial for success in this role.

Pay

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour, based upon knowledge, skills, abilities and experience. Paid weekly.
