Ignite Rehab seeks a motivated per diem Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care across Passaic County, NJ. All levels welcome and training provided for new graduates.

Per diem position with flexible scheduling; 1099 and W-2 options offered. Competitive salary and opportunities for growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist Program Graduate.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in NJ or eligible.
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, CPR.
• Home health experience preferred; mentor provided for documentation/compliance.
• Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the geographic territory.
• Strong communication with patients, support staff, and management.

Responsibilities

• Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area.
• Provide 1:1 treatment.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Deliver care that aligns with professional standards and prescribed plan of care.
• Educate family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques.
• Plan and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain or restore physical function and relieve pain.
• Perform initial exam and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit.
• Evaluate treatment effects and adjust plans to maximize benefit.
• Willingness to treat geriatric patients.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate per diem Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care.

• Pay: $74-$93.75 per visit

• Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.

• Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit

• Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit

• Must be willing to treat geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist Program Graduate

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey or eligible.

• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.

• Home health experience is preferred but not required - We will provide you with a mentor to help with documentation and compliance.

• Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the assigned geographic territory

• Strong communication skills between patients, support staff, and management, including timely responses via text, email, phone, etc.
