Interim HealthCare Inc. in the St. Louis area is seeking a full-time Home Care Aide for a float position across our service area. You’ll be a versatile caregiver who starts services, covers shifts, and supports new clients with compassionate, personalized care.

Qualifications

• Hands-on home care or caregiving experience required.
• Willingness to travel between client homes across service area.
• Strong communication, judgment, and a caring demeanor.
• Ability to adapt to various home environments and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Fill open shifts and cover caregiver absences.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care.
• Provide mobility, transfer and repositioning support with equipment as trained.
• Support clients with dementia, limited mobility, and complex needs.
• Prepare meals, assist with eating, light housekeeping and companionship.
• Follow care plans and report changes in client condition or safety concerns.
• Complete visit documentation accurately and clock in/out via AxisCare.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver dependable, consistent care.
