Job summary

St. Barnabas Health System is seeking an experienced Home Care Companion in Beaver, PA for a part-time role on day shifts. The position offers a salary of $16.00–$18.00 per hour plus shift differential and may become full-time in the future at the candidate's preference.

The incumbent will work under the Homecare Director to support residents’ wellbeing, assist with daily living activities, meals, light housekeeping, and provide companionship and personal care.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties under the direction and supervision of the Homecare Director.
• Enhance and maintain residents’ quality of life by addressing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
• Assist with daily acts of living.
• Help with meal preparation, snacks, and cooking.
• Light housekeeping and cleaning.
• Medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Personal care such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• All other related duties as assigned.

Our Home Care division is looking for an experienced Home Care Companion for a part-time need on first/second shifts. These can become full-time needs in the future if desired.

Salary Range: $16.00-$18.00 plus shift differential

Job Type: Part Time with the potential to become full-time if desired.
