Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care, companionship, and home support to clients in Florida. You will follow a nurse's plan of care, support daily living activities, and help clients stay safe and independent at home.

Ideal candidates hold an HHA certificate or CNA license, CPR certification, and a current Level 2 background check. Travel to client homes is required, with a focus on compassionate, reliable care.

Qualifications

• HHA Certificate of 75 Hours or CNA License.
• CPR Certificate from an in person class.
• A current Level 2 Background Check through AHCA -https://info.flclearinghouse.com
• One year of work experience - any company, any industry!
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.

We are currently recruiting for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to reliably serve patients in the following counties Seminole and Orange in BAYADA’s Assistive Care Division.

What you’ll do:

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

As a BAYADA HHA, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help themwith:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
