Description:

Join our team of 18 skilled and dedicated Dietitians focused on helping patients of all ages succeed with home tube feedings and oral supplements. Our program is unique in Dietetics, offering opportunities to learn about feeding supplies/equipment, insurance coverage guidelines, and marketing. Knowledge or experience with pediatric and adult tube feedings or oral nutrition supplements and making formula recommendations is preferred but not required. This is a full-time, patient-facing role in downtown Indianapolis, with partial remote options.

This role provides optimal nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The process includes nutritional assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring & evaluation. The team member will also plan, organize, implement, and evaluate individualized nutrition education; precept students; and independently order diets, supplements, and tube feedings as approved by the Medical Staff Office at each facility.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in dietetics or a related field.
  • Effective July 1, 2019, all newly registered dietitians or dietitians practicing in Indiana must have an active Indiana license.
  • All current registered dietitians must maintain Indiana certification until their next renewal period.
  • Effective January 1, 2021, all dietitians must have an active Indiana license.
  • Registration-eligible hires are required to obtain their RD and LD within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to develop medical care plans.
