Job summary

Abundant Love Home Care Services LLC in Valdese, NC seeks a compassionate Home Care Caregiver to assist clients at home, providing personalized care and support across Valdese, Granite Falls, and Hickory areas.

You will help with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and monitoring wellbeing while following care plans and reporting changes to supervisors. Training and flexible scheduling offered.

• Transport clients to appointments and activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
• Administer medication reminders and monitor client health conditionsOffer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Document and report changes in client condition to supervisors promptly

Requirements

• Previous caregiving, home care, or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus but not required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, patient, and empathetic demeanor
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans with minimal supervision
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
