Addus HomeCare in Somerville, TN is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help adults live independently at home. This entry-level role offers flexible hours and pay up to $15.68 per hour, with weekly options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year in-home care experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Reliable transportation for member transportation.
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Comfortable using an electronic device.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member and report completed tasks.
• Observe and report changes in member's condition.
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring).
• Transport member to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary.
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation.
• Assist people with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
