Care Planning Institute, Inc is seeking a nurse with in-home assessment experience to evaluate elderly clients in Rhinelander, WI and surrounding areas. Travel is within a two-hour radius and is paid at the same hourly rate as the assessments.

Assessments are about 30 minutes, with a flexible schedule (8am–8pm, Monday through Sunday; weekends possible). TB testing and a background check may be required; compensation is $40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license preferred.
• Background check may be performed.
• TB test required if not up to date or as directed.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home assessments of elderly clients in their homes.
• Discuss non-medical care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping).
• Complete assessments within about 30 minutes; respond within 7 days when notified.

Job description

We are a home care agency that has been in business since 2007 and in need of a person to perform in-home assessments of elderly clients in the Rhinelander, WI area (clients located within a 2 hour drive of Rhinelander, WI ). $40/hour. ACTIVE RN OR LPN License preferred.

The assessment consists of talking to the client in-person at their home - and asking a few questions about their non-medical care needs (i.e. Bathing, dressing, grooming, light house cleaning, etc).

The assessments take 30 minutes. Paid Travel time and time spent conducting the assessment. Travel is paid from the cleint's home and back at $40/hour. Flexible schedule. Can work anytime from 8am to 8pm Monday through Sunday. Weekends only is acceptable. Great part time job for extra money on the side of your regular job. We will perform a background check. Job starts soon.

We just started a contract with a large referral source so there is not a big need right now - but as we get more clients in the program the need will grow. When we have need of an assessment we will reach out and you would need to get the assessment completed within 7 calendar days of getting notified of the new assessment.

Must get a TB (Tuberculosis) skin test if not had one recently. You can go to your local County Health Department and walk in to get a skin TB Test. Just provide your ID and tell them it is for employment. It costs $25. You will return 48-72 hours later to have it checked.
