Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle.
• Willing to drive up to 30 minutes to clients' homes.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills with empathy and understanding.
• Understanding end-of-life needs and care considerations.
• Willingness to learn and become a professional caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities and spreading smiles.
• Provide companionship and a listening ear to clients.
• Deliver compassionate care ensuring comfort, dignity and peace of mind.
• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming with sensitivity.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Prepare meals or assist in kitchen as appropriate.
• Handle household chores and errands with care.
• Share humor and joy to uplift clients.

Job Title: Chief Happiness Officer (aka Caregiver)

Location: Wherever the magic happens - our clients' homes!

Pay: 4-12 hr shifts: $16.00 per hour. $1-$2 pay differential for short shifts (shifts 2-3 hours in length). Numerous ways to advance & make more $$$!

Responsibilities:

• Spreading smiles wider than a Cheshire cat as you assist clients with their daily activities.
• Being the ultimate BFF (Best Friend Forever) to our clients, offering companionship, a listening ear, and endless cups of tea.
• Providing compassionate and personalized care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and peace of mind.
• Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, with the utmost sensitivity and respect.
• Offering emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, creating a nurturing and reassuring presence.
• Channeling your inner Martha Stewart to whip up culinary masterpieces (or at least edible creations) in the kitchen.
• Channeling your inner superhero to tackle household chores and errands with finesse (cape optional).
• Keeping spirits high with your top-notch joke-telling skills and infectious laughter.
• Providing personalized care that would make even Mary Poppins proud.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• A valid driver's license & vehicle (to embark on epic grocery store runs and pharmacy adventures).
• Willing to drive up to 30 minutes to get to clients' homes.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond with empathy and understanding.
• A deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by patients and families at the end of life.
• A knack for turning everyday moments into unforgettable memories.
• The ability to find humor in even the most challenging situations, because laughter truly is the best medicine.
• We hire State Tested Nursing Aides (STNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), nursing students, retired nurses, retirees (from any field), empty-nesters, *OR* anyone else with a heart & desire to care for others, who are willing to learn and become a professional caregiver.
