Care Planning Institute, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide in Blue Lake, CA to assist an elderly male Veteran with bathing, dressing, grooming, and walking, enabling him to stay independent at home.

The role is long-term, 16 hours per week, with a base pay of $28/hour plus a $4/hour bonus for full shifts, paid as a W-2 employee. A background check and TB test are required; training is available if needed.

Job description

We are a home care aide services agency that has been in business since 2007 and help elderly people stay safe and well in their homes. We provide home care services in 15 states. We also offer same-day pay options for our caregivers.

We are in need of a Personal Care Aide to assist one of our clients who is an elderly male Veteran and needs some help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and walking - to stay independent at home. The job is located in the city of Blue Lake, CA.

This is a long-term position. 16 hours per week. The client resides in a secluded area of Blue Lake on a dirt road, so you will need a vehicle capable of handling the terrain.

The preferred schedule is Mondays 8A-5P and Fridays 8A-5P. Pay is $28/hour base with a $4/hour bonus to total $32/hour. You get the bonus if you work all the shifts you agreed to work during that pay period. The position is hired as a W-2 employee.

The job starts soon. Experience as a caregiver is required. We can train on the specifics of the job. We will perform a background check.

Must get a TB (Tuberculosis) skin test if not had one recently. You can go to your local County Health Department and walk in to get a skin TB Test. Just provide your ID and tell them it is for employment. It costs $25. You will return 48-72 hours later to have it checked.
