Job Overview:

Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire a Personal In Home Care Aide with a flexible schedule to join a dynamic care team providing clinical expertise in-home. Become an in-home caregiver today and make a difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities.

Requirements:

1. Must be 18 years of age
2. High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
3. Meets the requirements for employees providing direct client care
4. Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
5. All caregivers must pass an FBI background check
6. All caregivers need to provide a negative TB test
7. Be comfortable working with male and female clients
8. Be able to lift, pull, and push clients up to 30lbs

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with activities of daily living (dressing, eating, bathing, grooming, toileting, transferring)
2. Cooking and meal preparation
3. Household chores including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry
4. Providing showers, bed baths, or sponge baths
5. Providing brief changes or assistance with toileting
6. Companionship
7. Willing to travel 10 - 15 Miles

Working Environment:

Primarily works in clients’ place of residence, travel required. Serving the Northwest Orange County area and parts of Seal Beach / Huntington Beach. Shift times and days vary with client needs.

Nice to Have’s:

1. Home Health Aide (HHA) license is preferred
2. 1-3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities)
3. Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile (preferred)
