MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Certified Nursing Assistants (HCA/CNAs).

0-1 years of experience is eligible for up to $2,500 (full time).

1+ years of experience is eligible for up to $4,000 (full time).

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time HHA/CNA position. Bonus amount is prorated for Part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until more than 6 months after separation from employment.

This is a day shift position supporting York County.

Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice/Home Care Aide performs in-home care tasks to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Valid driver’s license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide preferred.
