CNA Job Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and housekeeping assistance according to the care plan under the supervision of the client care coordinator
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming
• Prepare meals to meet nutritional needs
• Report changes in clients' conditions promptly
• Perform routine housekeeping and home management duties
• Document care provided in the care plan accurately and timely
• Respond sensitively to complex needs, including end-of-life care
• Assist with routine therapy exercises
• Participate in case conferences as needed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNA certification approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health required
• Six months of experience as a Home Care Aide/CNA preferred
