SYNERGY HomeCare of Santa Monica is hiring a Home Care Aide to join our compassionate team on a PRN/Part-Time basis in Santa Monica, CA. You’ll support clients to maintain safety, independence, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes, providing companionship and personal care as needed.

We value reliability, empathy, clear communication, and a positive attitude. Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Proof of 2-step TB testing or ability to obtain.
• Current CPR / First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Must be bondable and pass a national background check.
• Satisfactory professional and personal reference check.
• Ability to complete orientation and online training modules.
• Physically able to perform light to moderate exertion.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Support meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting to the office.
• Adhere to infection control, HIPAA, and dress code policies.
• Report any changes in a client’s condition promptly.
• Clock in/out using our mobile app or timekeeping system.

What You'll Do:

Requirements:

• Satisfactory professional and personal reference check

• Ability to complete SYNERGY HomeCare orientation and assigned online training modules

• Physically able to perform light to moderate exertion including standing, walking, kneeling, and assisting with client repositioning
