Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking a dedicated Caregiver in Wheatland, MO for part-time hours to support geriatric clients at home. This role emphasizes one-on-one client interaction, safe care, and compassionate support in a private home setting.

You will provide basic personal care, companionship, and light household assistance while prioritizing client dignity and comfort, with flexible scheduling and direct deposit pay.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to lift 50 LBS.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed (e.g., meal prep, bathing, light housekeeping).
• Ensure client safety and comfort.
• Support clients in retaining independence at home.

A few daily tasks may include:

• Preparing/cleaning up after a meal
• Bathing/personal care
• Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
• Laundry
• Providing companionship
• Running errands
