Job summary

San Diego Compassionate Caregivers is urgently hiring a dedicated Caregiver for a client with a spinal cord injury. We will provide full specialized training for a quick learner who is motivated to provide high-quality care.

You will support the client with daily activities and transfers, using a Hoyer Lift as needed. The role requires willingness to learn, TB clearance, and registration as an HCA/HHA (or plan to register within 30 days).

Qualifications

• TB clearance required or within recent 7 days of hire.
• Registered HCA/HHA (or willingness to register within 30 days).
• Experience with lifting and transfers preferred for SCI care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to a client with spinal cord injury.
• Perform lifting and transfers using Hoyer Lift.
• Learn specialized SCI care through paid training and apply skills daily.

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00/hour

Location: San Diego, CA

The Schedule (Please indicate which shifts you can take):

• Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8 am-12 pm

• Credentials: Registered HCA/HHA (or willing to register within 30 days).

• Health: TB Clearance (recent or within 7 days of hire).

• Physical: Ability to perform lifting and transfers.

• Experience: Hoyer Lift/SCI experience preferred, but willingness to learn is required.
