Job summary

Vinson Hall is a premier not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community located in McLean, Virginia. We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to assist residents with daily living activities and maintain their dignity and independence.

Under supervision, you will support clients in our on-site retirement community and in home settings, with training provided toward PCA certification, CPR/First Aid, and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of personal care, companionship, homemaking, or related experience preferred.
• Must have completed a state-approved PCA or CNA program and is awaiting licensure; PCA training certificate on file.
• Must have a valid CPR/First Aid certificate.

Under general supervision, the Personal Care Aide is responsible for individual or multiple client personal care in the home or facility setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of personal care giving, companion, homemaking, residential cleaning and / or laundry services experience preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must have successfully completed a state approved 40-hour personal care aide training program (PCA) or has successfully completed a state approved Certified Nurse Aide program and is awaiting licensure.
• Must have current PCA training certificate or a certificate of successful completion from a state approved Certified Nurse Aide program on file.
• Must have a valid CPR / First Aid card.
