Job summary

Vinson Hall is a premier not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community located in McLean, Virginia. We are seeking a Part-time Certified Nurse Aide to support nursing staff and residents with personal care, nutrition, and restorative tasks according to care plans.

The ideal candidate has Virginia CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of related experience. First Aid and CPR certifications are required to ensure resident safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Virginia-approved Certified Nurse Aide Training Program with current Virginia Nurse Aide Certificate.
• Minimum of one year nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bedside nursing and geriatrics preferred.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, provides assistance to nursing personnel and residents.
• Assists residents with personal, nutritional and restorative care per assessment and care plan, under supervision of registered and/or licensed nurse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• A minimum of one-year experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience in bedside nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of geriatrics preferred,
• Have a valid First Aid Certification.
• Have a valid CPR certification.
