Job summary

Home Care Angels is seeking compassionate Home Care Aide (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide non-medical support and personal care to seniors in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and support families with reliable, professional care.

Flexible full-time and part-time positions are available, with weekday, weekend, and overnight shifts. A strong patient-first attitude and dependable transportation are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Active California HCA Registration required or willing to register.
• TB Test Clearance.
• Must complete a Live Scan background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android) for scheduling, clock-in/out, and communication.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to pass onboarding and employment verification requirements.
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Escort clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to office staff.
• Maintain accurate daily care notes and communicate via mobile scheduling app.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and client care plans.
