Job summary

Reliant Home Care Services in California is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide/Caregiver to join our team. This role offers flexible hours and a focus on patient-centered home care.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor well-being, and support clients with transportation, meals, and companionship, with training provided and a commitment to work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active HCA registration in California.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid CA driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients to live safely at home.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals, shop for groceries, and provide transportation as needed.
• Assist with mobility and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Create a safe home environment and engage clients in activities.

Home Care Aide/Caregiver

Part Time hours include: 8 A.M-12 P.M or 1 P.M-5 P.M

Full Time hours include: 8 A.M-5 P.M

Scheduled Days are Monday-Friday.

Weekend hours are rare but are on rotation to be fair to everyone!

Hourly Rate is $19/hr-$20/hr.

As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors/pediatrics/veterans/disabled need to live safely at home.

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.

• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.

• Provide medication reminders, document their condition, and notify a supervisor of any concerns.

• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.

• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

A few must-haves for Home Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California.

• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.

• CPR certification

• Valid CA driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation.

• Current TB screening.

• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator, and ability to lift to 50 lbs.
